We had close to four hundred people showed up in today’s City Redistricting Committee meeting to speak in opposition to the proposed plan separating Park Village from the rest of Rancho Penasquitos in district 5. There are kids, families with same voice - Keep Park Village with Rancho Penasquitos in district 5.
We as Park Village residents had demonstrated our common interests within district 5 as ONE Rancho Penasquitos. My little son is six and is sharing interests with all his friends in district 5. My elder son is in Westview high school and share same events such as basketball with other friends in Rancho Penasquitos district 5. I play badminton in Poway school, change oil for my Toyata and Honda cars in Poway district 5. Even my dog Lucky is playing in Rancho Penasquitos district 5 parks with other dogs with same interests.
Here is the next event to raise further our voice to the proposed plan separating Park Village from the rest of Rancho Penasquitos in district 5. If you plan to go, please be there earlier to pass the security check.

I just found the population deviation in year 2001 http://www.voiceofsandiego.org/app/Republican-Redistricting-Map.pdf to compare with.
Anyone has any thoughts or suggestions to keep Park Village from the rest of Rancho Penasquitos in district 5?
